Job Summary
Perform MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine procedures while maintaining competency in at least two modalities. Provide on-call coverage for additional specialties as needed and communicate exams to patients. Troubleshoot computer software and operate all imaging and patient care equipment. Maintain licensure through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS and hold current BLS certification. Requires high school diploma, accredited radiology coursework, and one to two years of clinical experience. Supports patient-centered care standards across all age groups.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
