Job Summary
Perform at least two modalities including MRI, CT, diagnostic, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine on a routine basis while providing on-call coverage as needed. Communicate exams and procedures to patients, troubleshoot computer software, and maintain competency in a minimum of two different radiology modalities through state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS certification. Requires a high school diploma or GED, an associate's degree in radiologic technology preferred, and one to two years of clinical radiology experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
