Technologist-Medical

Performs magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of UCHealth. Reviews patient history, physician's orders and scheduling; educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards; performs quality control procedures and troubleshoots/resolves equipment malfunctions as necessary. Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality, taking action such as re-positioning the patient or repeating procedures. Within the scope of the job, demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with registration as an RT and MRI registry (or registry eligible with registry completed within 12 months).
