Job Summary
MRI Technologist performs a full range of MR exams per established protocols, adheres to MR safety policies, may perform venipuncture and contrast injections, assists with MR-related equipment upkeep, tracks exams via RIS/ERS/EMR, and coordinates with Patient Financial Associates to minimize delays. Requires MR radiologic technology or MRI certificate from an accredited program and MRI/ARRT/ARMRIT certification within 1 year of hire; relevant safety and regulatory compliance are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in radiologic technology or MRI from a program accredited by USDE or CHEA-recognized agency
- ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist and/or ARRT (MRI) Certification - required within 1 year of hire date
- Completed MRI certificate or cross-training program preferred
