Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare examination rooms for the Interventional Radiology team. Assist in the performance of all departmental and non-departmental examinations while ensuring proper technical exposure factors to minimize radiation exposure. Collaborate with physicians on orders, requisitions, and lab results, and program digital computers, film stands, and contrast injectors. Maintain overall quality control and assurance standards while prioritizing patient comfort and radiation safety. Manage continuing education coordination and adhere to on-call and weekend rotation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
