Job Summary
Coordinate daily work schedules and prepare rooms for the electrophysiology lab, assisting the nursing and physician team in the performance of procedures including ablations and cardiac implants. Manage technical exposure factors for digital and conventional equipment to minimize radiation exposure, while programming digital computers, Schonander film stands, and contrast injectors. Ensure quality control and assurance standards are met, and maintain radiation safety and protection protocols. Collaborate with physicians on proper orders, x-ray requisitions, and lab results.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
- Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred
