Job Summary
Assist the nursing and physician team in coordinating daily work and preparing rooms for procedures in the electrophysiology lab. Collaborate with physicians on orders, requisitions, and lab results while managing technical exposure factors for digital and conventional equipment to minimize radiation. Program digital computers, Schöndauer film stands, and contrast injectors, ensuring quality control and patient comfort during ablations and cardiac implants. Maintain radiation safety standards and coordinate continuing education. Work 36 hours per week in the evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid ARRT and NJ DEP license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience preferred
