Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Demonstrates radiologic principles/theory and selects the most appropriate technique/positioning for optimal procedures, develops and implements procedure/treatment plans using hospital protocols, completes required documentation, maintains equipment and work areas, and participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets established standards. Requires ARRT(R) registration with Mammography (ARRT(M)) preferred, with certification for ARRT(M) within 12 months of hire, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty at orientation end, and basic computer literacy; state license as required. This role is based in McKenzie, TN, US and is listed as Full Time.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(R);BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE;NEW GRADUATE WHO WILL OBTAIN REQUIRED REGISTRY WITHIN 60 DAYS OF HIRE;STATE LICENSE AS REQUIRED
- ARRT(M)
- Must complete certification for ARRT(M) within 12 months of hire date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date
- ARRT(R) and Mammography registry preferred
