Job Summary
Provide computed tomography imaging and diagnostic imaging while reviewing patient history, physician orders, and lab results to ensure appropriateness. Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment, analyze imaging results to identify quality concerns, and resolve issues by re-positioning patients or repeating procedures. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation, and perform Point of Care Testing, Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing, and Electrocardiogram procedures. Work full-time nights with minimal supervision, requiring critical thinking and decisive judgment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
