Job Summary
Provide computed tomography imaging and diagnostic services while collaborating with radiologists and referring physicians. Review patient history, physician orders, and lab results to ensure appropriateness, then educate patients regarding procedures and equipment. Prepare equipment, select exposure factors to optimize image quality, and perform Point of Care Testing and Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing. Analyze imaging results, identify quality concerns, and resolve issues by re-positioning patients or repeating procedures. Conduct Electrocardiogram procedures, vital assessments, and splinting assistance as required. This full-time, nights-only onsite role requires critical thinking and decisive judgment with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
