Job Summary
Perform CT imaging examinations under physician direction, ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and anatomical positioning. Administer oral barium products or intravenous contrast material as ordered by the physician while adhering to ALARA radiation safety protocols. Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images, completing studies within acceptable time limitations without compromising patient care. Float to other regional facilities when not needed at your primary assignment and support system-wide imaging initiatives and safe operations plans. May be required to take call and work full-time hours (36-40 hours weekly). This role offers meaningful 8–13 week assignments across Utah and Idaho with flat-rate pay and housing reimbursement for locations 50+ miles from home.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(R)
- Relevant State licensure (where required)
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- 1+ years CT experience in a hospital at a high-level trauma center
Desired Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT)
- Must complete the controlled substance module
- Must complete the initial moderate sedation module
- IV Certification preferred
