Job Summary
Perform CT imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols while demonstrating thorough understanding of radiologic principles. Maintain equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas to ensure patient and staff safety. Complete required documentation to comply with hospital policies and participate in performance improvement activities. Requires 6 months experience in specialty area, ARRT(R) registration, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months experience in specialty area as required to meet all CT competencies at the end of orientation period
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Registry in Radiography ARRT (R)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date
- STATE LICENSE AS REQUIRED
- BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
- ARRT(R)
