Job Summary
Coordinate patient check-in, exam review, and preparation for visits while assisting radiology technologists with procedures and transporting patients. Manage registration administration, verify insurance, guide patients to resources, and answer telephones. Set up imaging rooms with proper isolation precautions, position patients for comfort and modesty, and explain studies clearly. Provide compassionate care to patients ranging from healthy to critically ill, including IV starts where required. Perform clerical, technical, and patient-related functions onsite. This role supports board-certified subspecialty radiologists within SimonMed Imaging, a leading outpatient radiology practice.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to interact compassionately and effectively with people who range from healthy to critically ill
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to stand and walk frequently
- Must be able to start IVs
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening
- Some positions will require a favorable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Medical Assisting Certificate
