Job Summary
Security Engineer role within the IT department to provide expert guidance on complex IT security solutions protecting PTOI enterprise applications and systems. Responsibilities include leading incident response, mentoring IT staff in threat and vulnerability management, scheduling penetration tests, performing vulnerability assessments and security education (including social engineering and policy review), providing security consulting to business areas and vendors, administering firewalls and access controls, serving as IT security expert on projects, researching monitoring and resolving security problems, and keeping current on new security measures and threats.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- at least eight years of IT experience in enterprise IT environments across multiple disciplines (IT Security, network engineering, application security, database, risk management, project management)
- experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing, firewall management, intrusion detection and prevention, application security, digital forensics, anti-virus/malware management, network security, security assessments
