Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including MRI, CT, US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine while maintaining competency in at least two modalities. Provide on-call coverage for additional modalities as needed and communicate exam procedures to patients. Troubleshoot computer software issues and maintain equipment for all patient care tasks. Requires BLS certification, state licensure, and 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience. Supports patient-centered care standards through accredited radiology discipline education.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
