Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities including MRI, CT, ultrasound, IR, radiation therapy, mammography, and nuclear medicine. Maintain competency in at least two modalities while providing on-call coverage as needed. Communicate exams and procedures to patients and troubleshoot computer software issues. Ensure all patient care equipment functions correctly and uphold the standard of practice for registered technologists. Requires BLS certification, state licensure, and one to two years of clinical radiology experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
