Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiation therapy. Maintain competency in at least two radiology disciplines while providing on-call coverage as needed. Communicate exams and procedures to patients and troubleshoot computer software issues. Ensure all patient care equipment functions correctly and uphold the standard of practice for a registered technologist. Requires BLS certification, ARRT or equivalent licensure in two modalities, and one to two years of clinical radiology experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices
- Communicates exams/procedures to patients
- Knowledge computer software and ability to trouble shoot
- Familiar with imaging equipment and all other patient care equipment
- Maintain competency in a minimus of two modalities
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Credentialed, certified, or licensed in a minimum of two (2) different Radiology modalities through the state, ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS
- 1-2 years of Clinical Radiology Experience
