Techno-Functional Analyst – Manufacturing Operations

Job Summary
Analyze and document manufacturing business processes across production operations, assessing downtime management, machine reliability, and dynamic disruption handling to optimize OEE and production scheduling. Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to create BRDs, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams, translating needs into actionable designs for MES and reliability platforms. Collaborate with engineering, IT, and supply chain teams to facilitate workshops, validate functional designs, and lead SIT and UAT activities. Support change management by developing user guides and coordinating rollout planning for digital manufacturing solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Techno-Functional Consultant within Manufacturing environments
- Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle Manufacturing Transformation, MES, Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, or Digital Manufacturing projects
- Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and operational workflows
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Downtime Tracking and Analysis, Machine Reliability and Asset Performance Management, Dynamic Disruption Management, Production Operations, Maintenance Operations, OEE Monitoring and Improvement, Manufacturing Analytics, Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Business Process Mapping
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- BRD/FRD Documentation
- Process Modelling (Visio, BPMN, etc.)
- Gap Analysis
- UAT Planning and Execution
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Systems such as: MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP Manufacturing Modules, Reliability and Asset Management Solutions, Production Monitoring Platforms, Industrial IoT and Manufacturing Analytics
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and understand system integrations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, or Digital Factory initiatives
- Exposure to SAP Manufacturing, SAP Digital Manufacturing, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, AVEVA, Ignition, PTC ThingWorx, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Reliability Engineering concepts
- Certification in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, or Project Management
