Job Summary
Techniker 2nd Level Support for automated and conventional milking and feeding systems in the Swiss market. Responsible for second-level technical support, contribute to operation of the central technical support hotline including on-call rotations, assist the sales team and/or dealers in project planning and implementation, provide on-site training and support for dealers during installations and commissioning of systems, help organize and conduct dealer and customer trainings in German and French, and contribute to the broader field service and customer education efforts. Willingness to work on-site in an agricultural environment; flexible working hours; home office possible by agreement; attractive social benefits, company car for private use, and at least 25 vacation days. The employer is GEA, a large process-technology group for food and other industries, with Swiss operations in Kirchberg; travel to customer sites and training events included.
Required Qualifications
- Technische Ausbildung mit EFZ
- Landwirt/in Berufserfahrung im Technischen Support oder im Technischen Dienst von Vorteil
- Affinität für Problemlösungen im Elektronik- und Automationsbereich
- Netzwerk- und IT-Kenntnisse von Vorteil
- Analytische und systematische Arbeitsweise, Teamfähigkeit und Flexibilität
- Sehr gute Deutsch- sowie gute Französischkenntnisse; Englischkenntnisse sind hilfreich
- Bereitschaft im landwirtschaftlichen Umfeld vor Ort zu arbeiten
