Job Summary
NPI Technician to transfer products from R&D to production in a complex electronic-systems environment. Contributes to product industrialization and supports production startup, combining hands-on product work with development and structuring of manufacturing methods. Responsibilities include assembling complex electromechanical prototypes, writing and structuring work instructions, managing BOMs in ERP, training production teams, designing and validating production test stations, producing assembly schematics and test procedures, collaborating with R&D to translate requirements into testable production methods, training users, supporting production during startup, managing ECOs and revision control, and developing quality tools (checklists, procedure validation). Offers flexible hours with telecommuting option. Requires DEC technique or equivalent and 3–5 years in NPI/industrialization. French is mandatory; English proficiency needed for technical documentation and English-language software.
Required Qualifications
- DEC technique (electronics, mechanical, industrial) or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in NPI, industrialization, or product transfer to production
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience assembling complex systems (asset)
- ERP knowledge (Business Central, SAP, Oracle or equivalent) (asset)
- Knowledge of testing, validation or automation (asset)
- French language required; good knowledge of English for reading technical documents and software
- Hands-on and practical approach; ability to bridge engineering and production; structured, detail-oriented; strong communication and collaboration skills
