Job Summary
Assist the social worker to explain to families the reasons of a youth's involvement and review current situations at home or within their family network. Provide support throughout referrals to community resources and contribute to the creation of the intervention plan while following up on it. Perform duties of a social nature with specific professional techniques within the limits of experience and training, discussing any additional tasks with the supervisor or manager. This role is reserved for Inuit/JBNQA beneficiaries residing in the community, with translation in Inuktitut available shortly.
