Job Summary
Execute daily preventative and corrective maintenance checks on facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression. Monitor the Building Monitoring System to resolve alarm issues requiring judgment, perform on-site inspections, and manage critical infrastructure under supervision. Support vendors by approving work, tracking daily activities, and ensuring modifications to technical files align with standard operating procedures. Respond to moderate on-site incidents, identify single points of failure, and complete site logs for permits and maintenance operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to manage inventory levels and recommend infrastructure projects to minimize downtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proven years of equivalent work experience
- BAC Pro or BTS Génie climatique / Maintenance industrielle
- Confirmed experience as a technician in the field of electricity or HVAC (Genie climatique)
- Experience in an environment similar to data centers
- Knowledge of industrial and tertiary maintenance requirements
- Technical versatility
- Ability to interact in English, both written and oral
- Rigor, method, precision, and attention to detail
- Sense of detail and follow-through on actions
- Exemplary adherence to established procedures
