Job Summary
Perform maintenance on aircraft and components, executing all activities in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards. Diagnose system failures to determine repair solutions and assist with structural and avionics repairs as required. Ensure all documentation related to assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submission. Collaborate with the flight crew and maintenance team to ensure aircraft availability 7 days a week, supporting a 12-hour daily operational schedule. This role supports the new government helicopter air ambulance program with operations commencing in September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on helicopter maintenance experience
- Valid Transport Canada AME M1/M2 licence
- Valid Canadian passport
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Decision-making ability
- Time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work 7 days a week
- Must be able to support a 12-hour daily operational schedule
- Must be able to maintain the highest aviation safety standards
- Must be able to work in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience on Bell 412 and/or Bell 212 helicopters
