Job Summary
Receive and inspect incoming Labpacks from external clients or field teams, validating physical contents against manifests and shipping documents. Unpack small vials, bottles, and containers from drums, performing rapid verification tests like pH checks to confirm product identity for orphan or doubtful items. Sort materials by chemical compatibility families (acids, bases, solvents, oxidizers) for consolidation or routing to appropriate treatment streams. Document and report any non-conformities, damaged packaging, leaks, or missing items immediately. Adhere strictly to factory safety standards and required PPE while maintaining a clean workspace. Requires DEC/AEC in chemistry or equivalent, plus knowledge of chemical compatibility and hazardous materials regulations. Full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the factory with no travel.
Required Qualifications
- DEC ou AEC en chimie, environnement, assainissement, ou expérience équivalente en manutention/gestion de produits chimiques
- Excellente compréhension de la chimie de base et des compatibilités/incompatibilités chimiques
- Bonnes notions des réglementations SIMDUT 2015 et TMD (Transport des marchandises dangereuses)
- Capacité à manipuler des charges (fûts, chaudières, caisses) et à travailler avec des protections respiratoires et combinaisons
- Minutie, rigueur scientifique irréprochable et grand sens du détail
- Poste permanent, à temps plein
- Lundi au vendredi de 6:30 à 15:00
- 100% en usine, aucuns voyagements requis
