Job Summary
As a field technician in the Application Engineering department, you will be responsible for commissioning equipment, conducting on-site training, and providing technical advice to clients. You will work closely with project managers and the intervention planning officer to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards during site receptions. Your role includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance on devices, preparing systems for client receptions through testing and programming, and drafting specifications in conjunction with project teams. A background in electronics, electrotechnics, or a similar field is essential, along with a willingness to travel for work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2/3 years of experience in a similar field
- Ability to read electrical plans/schematics
- Good relationship skills with clients
Desired Qualifications
- Solid knowledge in electronics
- Knowledge in electrotechnics
- Experience in automation or low currents
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to travel regularly in France and abroad
- Need specific qualifications for certain client sites (e.g., petrochemical sites, nuclear power plants)
