Job Summary
Electromechanic sought to maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a Canadian production facility. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, supporting morning production startup, carrying out fabrication, welding, and modification tasks, participating in equipment upgrades and improvement projects, and maintaining a clean, organized workshop while adhering to food safety and workplace safety standards. Leverages D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics with at least 2 years of industrial experience; requires physical stamina, ability to work at heights, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physical tasks: lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods
- Ability to work at heights and to overtime, weekends, or holidays with notice
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
