Job Summary
Electromechanic role focused on maintaining and improving mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a production facility. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical systems, supporting morning startup, performing fabrication/welding/modification tasks, participating in equipment upgrades, and ensuring a clean, safe, compliant work environment. Knowledge of TIG welding, labeling/packaging equipment, HACCP, and food industry standards is preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills and a safety-first mindset are emphasized. Location: Chambly, QC; full-time hourly with day/night shifts; compensation $25.79-$33.66/hour depending on experience; benefits include pension plan and paid time off. Relocation assistance is not available.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work at heights and overtime weekends/holidays with notice
- Excellence in communication and teamwork
