Job Summary
As an Electromechanic, you’ll maintain and improve the mechanical, electrical, and automated systems powering the facility. You’ll work hands-on with production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing mechanical and electrical systems; supporting morning production startup; carrying out fabrication, welding, and modification tasks; participating in equipment upgrades and improvement projects; maintaining a clean, organized workshop; and adhering to food safety and workplace safety standards. Preferred qualifications include TIG welding, familiarity with labeling and packaging equipment, HACCP knowledge, strong communication and teamwork, and a safety-first mindset.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. en électromécanique ou en mécanique industrielle (ou équivalent québécois)
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en milieu industriel ou manufacturier
- Âge minimum 18 ans
- Légalité de travail au Canada
- Capacité à effectuer des tâches physiques (levage jusqu’à 50 lb, etc.)
- Connaissances de base en informatique pour la documentation de maintenance
