Job Summary
As electromechanic, you’ll maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a production facility. You’ll work hands-on with production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, efficient operation. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical systems, assisting morning production startup, performing fabrication/welding/modification tasks, participating in equipment upgrades, keeping a clean, organized workshop, and adhering to food safety and workplace safety standards. Preferred qualifications include TIG welding, experience with labeling (Bizerba) and packaging equipment (Omori, Ulma), knowledge of HACCP and food industry standards, strong communication and teamwork, and a safety-first mindset.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. en électromécanique ou en mécanique industrielle (ou équivalent québécois)
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en milieu industriel ou manufacturier
- À l’aise avec les tâches physiques : soulever (jusqu’à 50 lb), grimper, s’agenouiller, rester debout pendant de longues périodes
- Capacité à travailler en hauteur et flexibilité pour faire des heures supplémentaires, les fins de semaine ou les jours fériés avec préavis
- Connaissances de base en informatique pour la documentation de maintenance
