Job Summary
Electromechanic role in a Canadian production facility: maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated systems; troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure production continuity; support morning startup; perform fabrication, welding, and modification tasks as needed; participate in equipment upgrades and process improvements; maintain a clean, organized workshop and comply with food safety and workplace safety standards; preferred qualifications include TIG welding, labeling/packaging equipment familiarity, and HACCP knowledge. This position offers full-time hourly work in Chambly, QC, with day and night shifts and a wage range of CAD 25.79–33.66 per hour depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. en électromécanique ou en mécanique industrielle (ou équivalent québécois)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lb, climbing, kneeling, standing long periods)
- Ability to work at heights and overtime/weekends/holidays with notice
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Autonomy with safety mindset
