Job Summary
Maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and automated production equipment; perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to keep production running. Diagnose, repair, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems; support morning production startup; carry out fabrication, welding, and modifications as needed. Participate in equipment upgrades and improvement projects; keep a clean and organized workshop and plant environment. Follow food safety and workplace safety standards. Preferred qualifications include TIG welding, familiarity with labeling and packaging equipment (Bizerba, Omori, Ulma), and knowledge of HACCP and food industry standards. Strong communication and teamwork skills; self-starter with a safety-first mindset. Relocation is not available.
Required Qualifications
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, kneel, stand for long periods
- Comfortable with physical tasks
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
