Job Summary
Technician de Service - Stanley Access Technologies in Montreal, QC. Service and perform preventive maintenance on Stanley Automatic Door Operating Equipment and related electro/mechanical equipment, document time vs travel, follow designated service programs, maintain records and inventory, stay current with equipment modifications and ANSI standards, maintain company vehicles and tools, ensure customer satisfaction, and mentor others in install/service methods. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, strong communication, ability to work independently, clean driving record, valid license, ability to handle physical tasks (ladder use, standing long hours, lifting 50-75 lbs), and a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/on-call. Preferred: prior automated door service experience, construction background in door/window installations, associates degree in related field, and experience in electrical, HVAC, automotive, or glass/ glazing carpentry roles. Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work independently
- Frequent climbing ladders
- Stand for several hours on concrete
- Ability to stoop, bend, crouch, kneel or crawl
- Ability to work in various climates
- Ability to work overhead
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs
- Flexible work schedule including nights and/or weekends or on-call
- Additional preferred skills: experience servicing automated doors; construction experience installing door frames and windows; Associate degree in related technical fields; experience in electrical, automotive, HVAC or communications; glazier or carpentry experience
