Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician - Albumin Purification (Day Shift) supports multiple manufacturing areas including Albumin Purification with cross-training in fractionation, IGIV purification, filling, and packaging. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and cleaning equipment (centrifuges, chromatography skids, fill/pack lines, CIP/SIP systems, autoclaves), configuring and troubleshooting packaging equipment, operating label verification vision systems, conducting visual inspection and counting of packaged products, maintaining batch records and GMP documentation, escalating issues impacting cGMP, participating in process validation and environmental monitoring, and performing routine cleaning. Requires adherence to cGMP/SOPs, documentation accuracy, and bilingual communication in French and English; prior experience in clean rooms and ability to work in a fast-paced regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or college diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
- 1 year experience in biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical/healthcare industry (preferred)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and in team
- Must lift/push/pull at least 15 kg and wear PPE as required
- Some tasks involve working in refrigerated environment
- Experience in clean room operation preferred
- Bilingual French and English (spoken and written); English required for documentation/reports interactions with Santé Canada, FDA and others outside Quebec/Canada
