Job Summary
Build and install wind turbines per standard operating procedures, commissioning and troubleshooting equipment while performing maintenance tasks like repowering, torque/tensioning, and cleaning. Inspect tower integrity, climb towers up to 300 ft for repairs, and test electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Replace worn components, service underground transmission systems and substations, and collect data for analysis. Adhere strictly to GWS safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and report all incidents immediately. Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas orderly, and meet weekly reporting deadlines for hours, progress, and travel. Valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50 pounds are required.
Required Qualifications

- Acceptable MVR record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to climb towers, up to 300 ft, on a daily basis, several times per day
- Weight less than 260 pounds
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions including adverse weather
- Flexibility to travel extensively
- Flexibility to work in varying and adverse weather conditions
- Flexibility to work overtime hours on weekly basis including nights and weekends
