Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems. Identify automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction by testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Perform test drives and utilize electronic diagnostic equipment to resolve mechanical problems. Maintain steady hand-eye coordination and dexterity while operating special service equipment. Compensation is based on performance and experience. ASE Certification with A-level qualifications is required, along with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a certified, master, or journeyman technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- ASE Certification required with A-level qualifications
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
