Job Summary
Install propane tanks in compliance with NFPA 58 and 54 regulations, maintaining required Class B CDL credentials and performing daily vehicle inspections. Accurately complete service orders, submit billing documentation, and invoice parts according to approved pricing. Support seasonal delivery operations by driving a delivery vehicle when needed and report incidents or safety concerns immediately to the General Manager. Participate in on-call coverage, including occasional evenings or extended hours based on customer needs. Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 75 pounds in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 75 lbs
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for documenting service orders and inspections
- Commitment to working safely and following propane installation regulations
- Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements
- 2–3 years of experience in propane, HVAC, or a closely related field
- Familiarity with propane systems, NFPA codes, and industry standards
- Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills
- Prior on-call or field service experience
