TECHNICIAN - WELDING

Technician role focused on fabrication and welding across spare parts, underground high voltage electrical joint boxes, and workshop tools using technical drawings; perform structural repairs and modifications on lifting equipment (cranes, RTGs) to operational requirements; ensure welding methods comply with DP World Standards and safety procedures, including selecting correct welding methods and pre-heating procedures; verify availability of working platforms for crane safety; ensure timely completion of work to avoid delays; stay updated on new welding techniques and equipment; provide guidance to Associate Technicians to maintain quality of work across the organization.
