Technician-Unit Support - PRN Rotating - Emergency Department

Administer direct patient care and manage unit clerical duties under Clinical Nurse direction. Provide support to the patient care team, maintain a clean environment, and assist physicians, patients, and vendors with information and directions. Schedule tests and procedures, maintain patient records, and manage the ordering, receiving, and delivery of equipment and supplies. Perform continuous observation including suicide prevention as required. Requires a High School Diploma, CPR certification, and acute patient care experience or successful completion of the IU Health PCA education program. Current Basic Life Support certification is mandatory, along with knowledge of medical terminology, infection control principles, and basic computer skills.
