Technician Trainer

Job Summary

Conduct hands-on training for mechanics across all shops by visiting locations frequently to demonstrate repair procedures on late-model equipment. Develop best practice procedures for major repairs and educate staff on new trucks and components while updating OEM software programs like Servicemaxx and Insite. Manage the Maintenance training on the Learning Management System, coordinate with IT and HR for electronic communication boards, and lead the Mechanic Internship Program. Work with Shop Managers and Supervisors to train apprentices and participate in equipment specification meetings. Maintain current industry knowledge through manufacturer sessions and classes.

Required Qualifications

  • Maintain up to date knowledge and training in the Maintenance industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience training others
  • Ability to travel
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Fluent in English
