Job Summary
Collect GPS coordinates for assigned assets, safely operate and maintain equipment, and gather precise inspection data while maintaining consistent productivity. Paint, scrape, and clean fire hydrants, perform repairs on valves, and uphold an A-90 driving score using a 4x4 truck in off-road conditions. Adhere to strict safety protocols, PPE usage, and work zone standards across busy streets, highways, and varied terrain. Work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts, traveling as needed based on project requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Certification
- Physically capable of performing field work, including walking over varied terrain, entering confined spaces, bending, squatting, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in physically demanding environments
- Willing and able to travel as needed based on project requirements, including weekends and occasional night shifts
- Proficient in using mobile devices and field data collection applications
- Demonstrated ability to make sound, safety-conscious decisions that may impact the public
- Capable of operating and maneuvering a 4x4 2500 series truck in off-road or challenging conditions
- Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to high ethical work standards

- Able to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening (required as a condition of employment)
