Job Summary
Perform testing of cable assemblies, sub-assemblies, circuit boards, and related products in accordance with approved procedures and engineering instructions. Operate test equipment to verify performance, print and maintain test records, and accurately document serial numbers and production transactions. Conduct visual inspections of adapters and fixtures, identify defects or non-conformances, and assist with troubleshooting and escalation to Engineering. Maintain Certified Test Operator status and comply with quality management system requirements. Full-time, 40-hour week with potential overtime and weekend work; must be a U.S. citizen and commute to Binghamton, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen

- Ability to follow written work instructions, procedures, and engineering documentation
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Ability to recognize and communicate product defects or process issues
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use manufacturing software and electronic documentation systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks while seeking guidance when needed
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Visual acuity to inspect components and identify defects
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for handling small components and test equipment
- Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment
- Ability to walk, stand, lift, and handle materials
- Ability to operate material-handling equipment
- Ability to work in areas with varying temperatures, noise levels, and typical industrial conditions
- Ability to obtain and maintain Certified Test Operator status
- Minimum of forty (40) hours per week
- Overtime and weekend work availability
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years of manufacturing, assembly, testing, or related hands-on experience
- Experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Basic electronics and electrical knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
