Job Summary
Perform on-site technical work to install and maintain computer equipment and network and software applications district-wide. Respond to work order requests by diagnosing and repairing network and computer hardware. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade computers and peripherals, network cabling, and network peripherals. Relocate computer hardware and equipment as needed. Provide technical assistance to users of computers and instructional equipment and software. Install and configure application and operating system software and upgrades. Assist with data communications circuits and equipment; maintain records and inventory. Travel districtwide and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. Maintain documentation of maintenance, time, and materials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Clear and valid driver’s license
- 3 years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals
