Job Summary
Micron Technician, Surface Lab responsible for managing sample flow, logistics, and maintaining lab readiness to support materials characterization and engineering activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow established procedures, and effective coordination with engineering, operations, and customer teams to ensure efficient and accurate execution of lab processes. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced laboratory environment, proficient with basic computer tools for tracking and documentation, and capable of supporting multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Success depends on clear communication, strong organizational and time management skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork while enabling technical teams to deliver high-quality data and insights.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to wear PPE
- Availability for Monday–Friday daytime shifts with potential evenings/nights/weekends
- Preferred AS/AS degree in Mechatronics, Science, Physics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or technical environments
- Experience with data, documentation systems, or structured problem-solving methods
