Job Summary
Apply paint or lacquer using striping equipment to parking lots, side roads, and bollards in accordance with ADA rules and regulations. Examine finished surfaces, retouch defective areas, and clean surfaces with solvents, sandpaper, or steam before preparing coating substances. Conceal blemishes using fillers and maintain tools per specifications. Ensure all activities follow company rules, DOT hours of service regulations, and policies. Complete annual striping projects nationwide within a calendar year and perform other duties as assigned. Requires a valid state driver's license, DOT medical card, and three years of striping experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Valid state driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment DOT background check, medical exam, and drug screen to obtain a DOT Certified medical card
- Must pass a DOT driving test and have a clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Must conform to all DOT hours of service regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Current DOT medical card
- Minimum three years' striping or parking lot maintenance experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
- Ability to multitask, manage time, problem solve, and navigate change
