Job Summary
Execute workplan implementation tasks including issuing locks, installing ergonomic matting, and placing signage across designated departments. Perform regulatory inspections in Benchmark and generate daily EHS messages for team distribution at start-up meetings. Respond to events as they occur, escalate issues to appropriate levels, and attend shift meetings. Manage safe tooling launches, handle hot work permitting, conduct inventories, and interpret safety rules and operating documents. Maintain proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers while developing job set-up sheets. Work the 3rd shift in Normal, reporting to a Group Leader within Stamping operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, and Taper Gages
- Experience in developing and maintaining job set-up sheets
- Must be able to manage the safe launch of tooling
- Must be able to understand risk assessment and problem-solving methods
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
- Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides
