Job Summary
Operate and maintain FCC testing equipment including DCR, ACE, and fluidization units while conducting analytical testing on petroleum feeds and slurries. Log customer and internal samples, perform specialized catalyst and feedstock testing via gas chromatography and elemental analysis, and keep complete, accurate work records. Maintain a safe laboratory environment by following hazardous materials protocols and updating safety documentation. This on-site role in Columbia, MD requires rotating shifts (7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm) and limited overtime. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 4+ years relevant experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or skilled trade
- Associate's degree with 2+ years in a technical field
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work rotating shift and limited overtime
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
