Job Summary
Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and overhaul ground support equipment components including chassis, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Read electrical and hydraulic schematics while performing preventative maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and brake work. Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain all tools in effective working condition. Complete work assignment forms according to established procedures and report safety violations or equipment misuse to supervisors. Comply with federal, local, state, Mercury GSE, and HSE regulations while keeping work areas clean and hazard-free. Maintain a valid class C driver's license and provide a complete set of necessary tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in repairing and maintaining ground support equipment
- Provide and maintain a complete set of tools necessary to perform job
- Possess and maintain a valid class C drivers' license
- Must be able to secure proper airport authority security badges
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with the role
Desired Qualifications
- Valid ASE certification or other Diesel certification is a plus
