Job Summary
Technician responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment. Duties include identifying and operating shut-off valves, maintaining maintenance inventory, troubleshooting MEP systems (air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and related controls), repairing equipment and guestroom items, programming TV systems, assisting with painting and surface preparation, and following Lockout/Tagout procedures. Requires solid hand and power tool skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong communication with guests and shifts. Preferred background includes 2+ years in hotel engineering/maintenance, vocational/technical training, and a valid driver’s license. Emphasizes safety, professional appearance, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Universal CFC Certification
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
- Valid Driver’s License
