Job Summary
Technician role in San Jose for Temco Logistics focusing on local multi-stop appliance delivery, installation, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include operating a 26 ft box truck, loading, delivering, and installing washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops; safely handling equipment; connecting basic water lines, valves, and electrical components; using mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain records; delivering exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients; and performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections per safety protocols. Requires 21+ with ability to lift 100+ lbs, clean driving record, background check and DOT physical, and a valid for-hire endorsed license. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps
- Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred)
- Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical
- Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
