Job Summary
EHS Technician responsible for delivering EHS training (including new hire orientation, powered industrial vehicle training, lockout/tagout, and DOT/RCRA compliance), conducting safety audits, advising site leadership on regulatory requirements, supporting sustainability and continuous improvement of EHS programs, investigating incidents and coordinating corrective actions, and collecting/analyzing EHS data to drive proactive safety initiatives. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), valid driver’s license, OSHA 10 or 30, proficiency with MS Office and EHS software, strong communication and teamwork skills, and manufacturing experience. Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs with the ability to learn and utilize EHS software systems
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Experience working with the MPCA and environmental compliance requirements
- Manufacturing environment experience
